- For the past several years, the FAA has required pilots to meet the FAA ATP
flight time requirements to fly commercial aircraft operated by US Part 121 airlines. There is no such requirement in most countries worldwide.
- Eagle Jet International has in place a First Officer program for low time US
citizens including the FAA ATR type rating course in the USA followed by airline ATR First Officer experience nearby the USA so pilots can meet the FAA ATP flight time requirements and also build this experience while acting as a First Officer on commercial aircraft which in the USA requires to hold the FAA ATP license. This experience makes pilots highly marketable when applying for employment with US Part 121 airlines compared to other candidates with general aviation or light turbine aircraft experience.
